Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation
This link is provided for those who would like “Scientific Proof” of the benefits of feeding raw food. This study was done in the 1930’s and 1940’s with no motive regarding the commercial implications of the results. The study is clean, simple and the results have timeless implications regarding any questions about the differences between raw and cooked foods for our pets. The study documents the multifaceted effects of malnutrition over several generations of cats. The Pottinger research is quite conclusive and well known, although little spoken of in the pet industry.

PHD Pet Products
This link is provided for those who still feel uncomfortable about feeding raw food to their dog or cat. PhD brand pet foods come as close to providing ideal nutrition as is possible with a processed food. The company incorporates the feeding of raw food into their dietary programs, an unusual approach from a pet food business, which I feel is a testimonial to their integrity. I have been involved with product development and research.
